Thorsten is founding partner of BHI. Prior to this, he was an early employee at Oscar Health. With more than 15 years of experience as an operator and advisor in the healthcare industry, Thorsten has helped to build and scale healthcare startups across insurance, AI and care delivery. After completing his studies at WHU and Columbia University, Thorsten started his career at McKinsey.

Tim is founding partner of BHI. Before moving to NYC, Tim ramped up the European office in Berlin. He has a non-linear path into healthcare with a MSc degree in Industrial Engineering & Managment as well as an MBA. He started his career in the international deals practice of PwC.

Max is an Investor at BHI, based in Europe. As the first investment hire at BHI, Max leads investments across Europe, with a focus on DACH, the Nordics, and the UK. Before joining BHI, he gained experience in early-/growth-stage and private equity investing at Creandum, Activant Capital and IK Partners. He holds a Double Master's Degree from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland and Esade in Barcelona.

Agnes is an Operating Partner in our European office, with nearly 20 years of experience as an operator and advisor for hospitals across Europe. Previously, she was part of the management at BFS health finance, a leading healthcare finance company. Agnes holds a Law degree from Germany and an LL.M. from the University of Auckland.
